This is written in plain language on purpose, and it is the real policy, not a summary of one. Dibs is run by Hello DIBS Inc., and "we" below means that company. Two kinds of people end up here: someone who asked a moving company for an estimate through one of our forms, and a moving company that uses Dibs. Both are covered below.
You filled in a form on a moving company's website, or on an estimate page we host for them. Dibs built that form and runs it on the moving company's behalf. The company named on the form is who your information is for.
Ask the moving company you contacted, since the request is theirs, or email us at hello@hellodibs.com and we will handle it within 30 days. Either route works. You do not need an account, a form, or a reason.
We use anonymized, aggregated numbers across all companies on Dibs, for example "a typical moving website turns 2 of 100 visitors into a lead", to improve the product and to publish benchmarks. Nothing in those numbers identifies your company or your customers.
Dibs runs on a small set of service providers, each doing one job: Supabase (database and hosting), Vercel (web hosting), Twilio (phone calls and texts), Retell (the AI voice assistant), Brevo (email delivery), Google (address suggestions while typing), and Stripe (payments). Each receives only what its job needs. Data is stored in the United States. If you are in Canada, your information may be processed in the United States under this policy.
Leads are kept for as long as the moving company's account is active, because they are that company's customer records. Form analytics are kept to compute long-term statistics. If a company leaves Dibs, they can take their leads with them and ask us to delete the rest.
Dibs is for moving businesses and their adult customers. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and account holders are told by email. We will not quietly widen what we do with your information.
